Liquid nitrogen is applied to a verruca
for one minute, this is allowed to thaw out, then repeated.
By freezing the skin in this way it is hoped that the
skin cells containing the verruca virus will be destroyed,
so eliminating the verruca. Up to 3 verrucas can normally
be frozen in one session and each
session costs £50.00. Redressings
are not normally required.
