Nail surgery is performed under local
analgesia, the same type of injection as given by Dentists.
Following an initial
consultation appointment a surgical appointment is made,
this normally is for 1.5 hours, although the procedure
rarely lasts more than 20 to 30 minutes, most of the time
being taken for pre and post op preparation.
Total nail avulsions cost £260.00.
Should a second nail require removal at the same time this
would cost an additional £30.00.
Partial nail avulsions cost £260.00.
Further sides can be removed up to a maximum of four on
two toes at £30.00 each at the same time.
These fees are effective until 1 April
2013.
The above fees include all follow-up redressings,
normally on a weekly basis for 4 to 8 weeks.
